30 Day Challenges
These are the challenges we’ve taken on so far:
Here are some of the ideas we have for 30 day challenges in the future:
- Watch a TED talk every day
- Pick a musical instrument and practice for one hour every day for a month
- Work out every day for a month
- Write a letter every day to someone different in your life
- Read for an hour every day
- Call or meet with a different friend for at least twenty minutes every day
- Give up sweets
- Eat vegan or raw
- Give up TV, movies and video games
- Send a thank you note or e-mail to someone different every day
- Give up going out to eat
- Pick a language and spend an hour every day learning and practicing
- Actively play with the kids for an hour every day
- Spend $0 on discretionary expenses (no clothes, Starbucks or going out to lunch)
- Paint a different picture every day
- Do a house project for 30 minutes every day
- Do something nice for a different person every day
- Write a recommendation for a different friend or colleague every day
- Give away something you own to someone else every day
- Get rid of the clutter by throwing something you own away every day
- Reorganize something in the house every day
- Do an art project every day
- Make a donation to a different charity every day
- Pick a new quote each day and write about it
- Do yoga every day
- Go for a job every day
- Meditate for 20 minutes every day
- Think up a new business idea every day
- Make memories by creating a new video every day
- Create the outline for a new movie every day
- Cook a new dish you’ve never made before every day
- Go for a family walk every day
- Get up at 5am every morning
- Read a chapter of a book together as a family each night
- Give your spouse a 15 minute massage every day
- Eat a salad every day
- Have sex every day (man’s idea, clearly)
- Give up alcohol for a month
